Camping Hiking in Sonoran Desert in Spring Can Be an Amazing Sight |

We love camping hiking in the Sonoran desert during the fall, winter, and spring. If we get enough rain in the winter, it'll look like the picture shown here, when we love to do most of our camping hiking to take advantage of the spring flower display. Our favorite places for camping hiking are east of Phoenix in the Superstition Mountains and we gladly share the beautiful parks there with tourists from all over the world. It's amazing how many languages we hear when we're out on the trail. The Sonoran desert is the only one like it in the world. Actually, it's classified as as a desert because the rainfall isn't sufficient to consider it anything else, but it's the lushest desert in the world. I know many people who visit her in the cooler months think we have an ideal climate except for the most of the year, but they don't understand how we can get through our summers. Sometimes we wonder the same, too, which is why we do all our camping hiking in the cool months. We're hoping that this season we get all kinds of rain in the winter so we have a grand display of flowers this spring.
