There are tons of outdoor sports for the entire family.  I have a large family, my husband, myself and five children, and we have lots of fun playing outside together.  We have discovered many games we enjoy playing together outdoors.  One thing the kids love as much to play as we do is croquet.  We set up our croquet set and have a ball!  Even the smallest kids can play and understand, and have fun.  We also have horse shoes to play, we separate into two groups and have a great time.  The extra person sits out and we take turns switching.  Another fun outdoor sports game to play together is basketball.  Sometimes we play HORSE and sometimes we separate into teams to play.  In the summer we do a lot of swimming together and play outdoor sports in the pool, like Marco Polo, pool volleyball and basketball.  Doing these activities, we get to bond and get our exercise at the same time.  It is a really valuable thing, and I treasure all of our time together.
