It is unbelievable that much of the country is very cold or very wet and here we are in the desert southwest with 70 degree weather. We certainly deserve it after surviving the intense heat of our summers. I am going to have visitors this holiday season and they have told me time and time again how tired they are already of their frigid temperatures. My friends are looking forward to some outdoor sports while they are here. Their favorite outdoor sport is tennis and a bit of golf. That will be no problem here. My one friend loves to fast walk and wants to keep up that exercise while here. I will gladly join her in that outdoor sport. She has been doing her walking indoors on the treadmill. I am hoping they will want to go on some easy hiking trails. This is one of my favorite outdoor sports. I won’t have to worry about entertaining them at least. They both will be in outdoor sport heaven for at least a week, before going back to the very cold weather.
