coleman tent, camping hiking The season for camping hiking and outdoor sports is here. When your family and friends decide to take a few days off roughing it then I challenge you to do it without the Coleman tent. Sleeping under the stars in just a sleeping bag can be an amazing experience when done right. Not using a Coleman tent does mean the chance of mosquito bites, critters climbing into your sleeping bag and being exposed by the elements but that is where you have to take what you have learned off Man vs. Wild, Survivor Man and all those other places you have picked up making it in the wild tips.

If you have never tried to do something like this then pack a Coleman tent for back up. It is always better to have a backup plan. If nothing else the tent can be used to store food and other outdoor stuff. The really creative people will be able to build a shelter off the ground so bugs can’t crawl in. If this sounds like something fun then research survival tips before heading off.
