camping hiking, laptop backpackLast weekend my girlfriends and I went camping and one of them brought along this nice laptop backpack so we could check our email daily. We all get together once a year and go out camping hiking for a long weekend. We had so much fun, and it seemed weird to be able to stay in touch out there in the middle of nowhere, but we were happy that she brought her laptop backpack along just in case we wanted to see what was happening in the real world. I remember when we first started camping hiking together. There were no distractions from the outside world. There were no cell phones or computers, and when we left civilization, we were powerless to be in touch with those we left behind. Now people have instant communications almost every place on earth. Even though our camping hiking trips are deep in the woods, we did like having access to the outside world with these mobile devices. We did have to consider battery consumption, however, so for Christmas, we're all chipping together and giving our friend with the laptop a solar charging backpack for her laptop that will give us many more hours of laptop use n the middle of nowhere.
