Desert Residents are Pulling Out the Coleman Tent |

While most of the people in the country were getting in their camping hiking fixed over the past few months maybe even into this week, residents of the Southwest were counting the days for Autumn to begin so they could set up the Coleman tent in a desert which isn’t 100 degrees at midnight. I spent my college years in Arizona and still have friends and family there. I was talking to one buddy still in school there who had just got back from Saguaro Lake after a night in a Coleman tent. He said it is still hot out but beginning to cool down. I know what he’s saying because it is still been around 90 degrees in Southern California but according to the weathermen it is starting to cool down.
He was telling me how much better his dirt bike was riding because it’s not two million degrees outside. I miss those cooler nights in the desert. It is really the best place to set up a Coleman tent with the roof fly off because the stars are so clear. I have never been to a place where you can see every star in the sky quiet as well as the desert.
