I love to do camping hiking in the early fall. Who wouldn’t love to see the colors of the trees and feel the much cooler temps. One of our favorite camping hiking places is in Prescott, Arizona. There are numerous places to hike. The trail we love to go on is called, Thumb Butte Trail. It is a very popular trail and it is not that difficult of a hike. You go through the sometimes steep treed canyon and on clear days, you get fantastic views of the Bradshaw and Mingus Mountains. Camping hiking is great for family bonding and it is good for the psyche. There are plenty of campsites up north and once we set up our Coleman tent, we are ready to do one of our favorite outdoor sport and that’s hiking. The one trail we will try next time is the Prescott Peavine Trail. This trail permits biking and horseback riding. Our other outdoor sport we love is biking. I can’t wait to check out our October calendar and plan our week-end.
