The Season for Camping Hiking and Cool Fun |

We have finally trudged through the hottest months of the year and are beginning to come down to more livable temperatures. Not to say the heat isn’t great but If I’m camping hiking in 100 degrees there better be a lake nearby or the Coleman tent is going to reek like a gym locker room in no time. I like it better when it’s colder outside because you can always add more layers, camping hiking gear is made for the elements and it makes the whole experience more comfortable.
I can only speak for where I live though. People in the south and on the east coast have been hammered by far from summer weather recently. Here in the south west coast it has been a lot of sunshine which is nice but it will be great to see the streets wet again. With the hiking camping season in full swing right now, all I want to do is get some friends together, drive an hour outside the city and set up a Colman tent before enjoying the outdoors. I’ll pray to the rain gods not to drench any soon to be had outings.
