camping hiking, coleman tent

     Living in the great state of Alaska, I have been privileged to see some of the most beautiful and breath taking scenery this world has to offer. As a teenager in the "Great North", I often went on many outdoor sport adventures with my rifle, fishing pole and my Coleman tent. Camping hiking up there is world renowned, and the wildlife are very abundant. On one of my many adventures, I hiked up to a place called Eklutna Falls where I fished and hunted all summer. My mom worried the first couple of times when I would disappear, only leaving a note for an explanation. But after she knew that I knew what I was doing, she actually encouraged my adventures; and loved to hear my stories on my return.

     My mother always told me to take pen and paper with me and write down my thoughts. I did, and I am very glad that I did. With all of my notes and drawings I was able to make a book of my excursions, and I actually had it published last month!
