We just got back from our spring camping hiking trip in the Sonoran desert and we had such a great time. Between the hiking and gathering firewood, we all got good workouts which meant that we were able to eat a great deal. I brought along our new cast iron frying pan and used it for all our meals. I’m in one of those mindsets where I need a change of scene to come back with a full tank of gas. Not wanting to spend the money on a plane ticket or hotel reservations, the best way to clear my head is out under the stars. It has been very warm here in Southern California for a solid 5 days now.
